Pricing - $30 per Child

We’re providing breakfast and entertainment – games, arts and crafts, a movie and of course, swimming! Our staff will be hands-on and engaged with your children all morning.

Pick-Up & Drop Off

Program hours are 7am – 12pm. Drop off and pick up are at your convenience any time between these hours. 

Program Requirements

All participants must be at least four years of age and fully potty trained.

 

Please include pertinent dietary restrictions and medical information in your Jackrabbit registration. Forward this info to Mary Ritchey:

We will administer a swim test to all participants and may require them to wear a flotation device in the pool.

It's play time for your pups! We are pleased to offer a wet playground for your furry friends. We offer both group and individual swim options.

The Fine Print

Pet parents are responsible for cleaning up after your dogs. Waste bags are provided.

 

Worthington Pools is not responsible for injury or accident to you or your dog.

 

Registrants must be up to date on dog vaccinations and licenses. 

Aggressive animals will be asked to leave without a refund.

 

No leashes and no humans in the pool.

 

Dog lifejackets recommended.

Open Swim

Pups will have the run of the North Pool to swim and socialize. There is access to both shallow and deep water with dog-friendly ladders.

 

Each entry fee includes a raffle ticket to win toys, treats and more! Register in the table, below.

Private Lessons

Does your dog fear the water or struggle to stay afloat? Our instructors will work one-on-one with your pooch to help them work through anxiety and build confidence in the water.

Afternoon Swim

Members & Guests Only

The pool will be open 11am – 5pm. At 5pm we will clear the facility for the evening swim and fireworks show.

 

Concessions will be open 12pm-5pm.

Evening Event - Members Only

This event is only open to members who pre-register.

No guests or walk-ups will be admitted.

Doors are open 6pm – 11:30pm. Concessions will close at 8pm. Snacks available just before the fireworks show.

 

Note, there will be no automotive access to the facility from 9:45PM until roughly 11PM to allow for foot-traffic. More details in this report:

Pumpkin Painting - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Introduction to water skills in a slow, comfortable, fun environment for a student who is uncomfortable in the water. A caregiver must be prepared to get wet with the child for every class in the event the child needs additional assistance.

Level 1b: Introduction to Water Skills

Helps students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely. This is the basic beginner level for those that are ages 4 and up. Instructors utilize flotation aides to allow the child to develop better swimming habits.

Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills

Gives students success with fundamental skills and learn to float without support. Learn basic self-help rescue skills.


Prerequisites: The student must be able to do 3 bobs in a row, with their whole head submerged for 3 seconds. The student must be able to do a front and back float, without support, for 5 seconds. Student should be able to swim 5 feet on front and back with no flotation. Ages 3 and over.

Level 2.5: Building Aquatic Skills

Gives continued support of basic swim and floating skills while increasing endurance for greater swim distances.

The student must be able to demonstrate swimming on their front and back with any combination of arms, legs, and breathing, without support, for 15 ft. The student must be able to tread water, with support, for 15 seconds. Ages 3 and over.

Level 3

Level 3: Stroke Development

Builds on the skills in Level 2.5 by providing additional guided practice. Students learn to coordinate front and back crawl. Introduce elementary backstroke and the fundamentals of treading water.

 

Prerequisites: The student must be able to swim on their front and back, with any combination of arms, legs, and breathing, without support, for 25 ft. The student must be able to tread water for 15 seconds. Ages 3 and over. Goggles recommended.

Pre-Requisite: The student must be able to swim front crawl with rotary breathing and elementary backstroke for 15 yards per stroke to the level 3 standard. The student must be able to tread water for 30 seconds. Ages 6 and over. Goggles recommended.

Stroke Refinement: provides further coordination and refinement of strokes. Introduce the butterfly, open turns, feet-first surface dives. Increase swim distances.
Pre-Requisite: The student must be able to swim front crawl and elementary backstroke for 25 yards per stroke to the level 4 standards as well as the breaststroke and back crawl for 15 yards per stroke also to the level 4 standards. The student must be able to tread water for 2 minutes. Ages 6 and over. Goggles recommended.
