Hip Hop Fitness is a group fitness format that translates various calisthenic exercises into hip hop dance moves. It is a great way for people of all ages to get and stay fit while enjoying themselves by doing hip hop moves they never thought possible. All classes are led by trained instructors who are taught to motivate and encourage while teaching intermediate to difficult hip hop moves.
There are many benefits to Hip Hop Fitness as an aerobic exercise such as burning calories in the body, which in turn helps reduce unhealthy fat. Hip hop fitness also strengthens your immune system making you less prone to various diseases and illnesses. Attending these classes regularly can result in reduced cholesterol levels and blood pressure.

This mixed-level series is suitable for beginners and experienced yogis! We will build strength and flexibility by connecting movement and breath, beginning with Sun Salutations and moving through standing and seated poses. This class will include breath work (pranayama) and flowing sequences for deep relaxation and stress relief. It?s a perfect complement to an evening run or bike ride on the nearby Olentangy Trail!
